I have always been a lil conscious of my diastema particularly when smiling for cameras or doing close-ups as my diastema becomes the focal point when on screen. I have noticed that it also affects my speech on camera and makes it seem like I have a lisp and may have gone against me and my diction for auditions hence not getting the job. Has anyone had a similar experience if so have you chosen to close it ?
